From The Director

The  vision for the Persuaders Academy is to teach youth self-worth and to help them find purpose in their lives by discovering their gifts and talents. We have set standards for program that help direct and guide them to their utmost potential. The objective is to empower youth to make a difference with selfless goals. We have incorporated many pieces of training —from goal setting to personal development—in the Persuaders Academy training program. One important piece that is dear to our heart is the media curriculum. We are very proud of our media curriculum because the youth in our program learn to direct and report on current news events. Children who train in the media course learn how negative influences lead to bad choices. Statistics reveal youth who have positive mentors and role models in their lives will be productive and focused on positive things in their life. Our goal is to reach one child at a time as we look, reach, give, and teach beyond our self because we want to see a better world with better people. 

In addition to teaching life skills and leadership, we believe in the importance of finding a child's passion and allowing for creative expression. We include opportunities in STEM , Music production, Media production and Art.
